FRANCIS ENGLAND received a patent for 746 acres
for, transportation of 15 persons including ELIZABETH
WEBB and SARAH ENGLAND.
July 26, 1652
FRANCIS ENGLAND received patents totaling 1,066
acres: 746 acres in Isle of Wight in renewal of a previous patent
plus 200 additional acres which had been assigned to him; 120 more
acres in Isle of Wight for the transportation of JESSE ENGLAND and
two others.
September 29, 1664
FRANCIS ENGLAND received a patent for 2,366 acres
for the transportation of 26 persons including ) himself, JOYCE,
his wife, and GEORGE CRIPPS. Also, ELIZABETH HALFPENNY.

CAPTAIN FRANCIS ENGLAND commanded a company of
infantry.

FRANCIS ENGLAND signed his will as "FRANCIS
ENGLAND OF BLACKWATER.

JOYCE ENGLAND married GEORGE CRIPPS. ROBERT FLAKE
is mentioned in the marriage bond.

JOYCE CRIPPS mentioned in a legal record as the
wife of GEORGE CRIPPS and the former wife of FRANCIS ENGLAND. Left
1300 acres to her "sister SKINNER" and mentions "my
mother FLAKE".

JOYCE CRIPPS made her will and mentioned that
"SUSAN BRASWELL" was the daughter of her sister"
and left her one shilling.
June 7, 1680
MARY SKINNER, widow, sold GEORGE CRIPPS of Blackwater
the 1300 acres she received from JOYCE CRIPPS, her late sister,
deceased, wife of said GEORGE CRIPPS.
September 7, 1630
MARY SKINNER had married JOHN COLLINS by this
date.
March 6, 1688
ANNE ENGLAND, the only daughter of FRANCIS
ENGLAND, made her will this date and mentioned the 1300 acres her
father left to her mother, JOYCE, on May 13, 1677.
October 1, 1694
On this date an Isle of Wight legal entry was
made reading : "Order is granted SUSANNA BRASWELL against JOHN COLLING, SR., for four -hundred pounds of tobacco for looking after
COLLING'S wife in her late extremity when she was beaten by
COLLING, with costs.
